From Kratie it is a short minivan ride to the next town on the river. I had booked accommodation at the fabulous LBN Asian hotel which offered amazing views of the river from its sky deck. I spent 3 days here exploring the town and its markets. After crossing the bridge I spent an afternoon walking along the banks of the river, families were enjoying picnics and barbecues while others swam and fished. Kampong Cham has the longest bamboo bridge in the world and is rebuilt every year after the rainy season has passed. You can view Kompong Cham’s location here
